EPC contracts are fixed-price, wherein the client provides conceptual information about the project. Technical parameters, based on the desired output, are specified in the contract. Under an EPC Agreement, we are responsible for undertaking survey, investigation, design, engineering, procurement, construction and maintenance of the project. Before beginning with the construction, we are required to satisfy all requirements regarding design criteria and calculations as per the terms of the agreement. We are liable to remedy all loss or damage to the project to the extent that it is caused by our default and negligence. We are required to procure the necessary rights, licenses, contracts and permissions for material, methods, processes and systems used or incorporated into the project. Our EPC projects are divided into two main verticals (i) Highways, Bridges and other EPC works and (ii) Railways projects.
