HAM is a mix of EPC and BOT-annuity models. HAM agreements require the successful bidder to design, finance, construct, operate and maintain the asset over a pre-defined period (“Concession Period”). . In return, the Concessionaire is granted the right to receive annuity payment from the authority for operating and maintaining the asset during the Concession Period through a pre-defined mechanism. The scope of our responsibilities is usually set out in the relevant concession agreement, where we may be required to undertake routine construction and maintenance of the project road, maintain and comply with safety standards to ensure smooth and safe traffic movement, deploy adequate human resources for incident management, maintain proper medical and sanitary arrangements for personnel deployed at the site and prevent any unauthorized entry and exit.
